Pickling

I pickled some banana peppers this summer. I used the bread and butter packet at wally world. They actually tasted pretty good, my wife even liked them. This was my first time using the water bath canner and it seemed to go pretty well. I need to really pack in the peppers....a lot of space was still there after they cooled down.


Anyone else do any pickling?

Yep...I've done jalapeños, banana peppers, etc. I personally don't like banana peppers but the wife loves 'em. Been doing it for years. Basically, just some vinegar and a little sugar if you like them a little sweet.
