Thought Id start a thread regarding combing only ingredients you can produce on your bol property and storage food and menu ideas. Last week I couldn't make it out to my garden wig work constraints to cover my squash before the frost DESTROYED my beautiful squash plants. I decided to harvest all my baby squash and squash blossoms (squash plants including stems blossoms and leaves are edible, but the leaves and stems were too far gone). I combined the squash with the five remaining greenbeans on my dead plants and with a few carrots ( the greens are edible yet can be bitter, yet a good source of potassium).I saut

I knocked out pneumonia with a herbal tea made mostly from what I found around the house:
cedar
whit pine
pantain
comfrey
dandelion root
then added:
ginger
garlic
lemon
and honey
I knocked the infection out in 3 days... that is what started my quest in herbal medicine. I was most excited to find that many of the plants, that we almost step on every day, can be used for medicine. Definitely worth learning about!
