    Deer Stew
From the field to the table! This here is about getting that deer meat to the table. As usual I made more than I meant to so it got split between pots as I began adding things. Now I added some ingrediants that may not be a part of stored preps but the beauty of stew is that anything and everything can be used that you come acoss. It gave me a chance to rotate and use leftovers. It would be a top suggestion for anytime you lose power and need to immediatley use stuff.

What I use to thicken the stew down rather than corn starch or flour n water mix.

A moment of honesty about the garden. I’ve been farming and/or gardening my whole life and I aint no rookie but……..
Oh and thanks Karen for the soap and the lessons.

I know with my family there won’t be any left by tomorrow.

Anything left in the refrigerator? That stew had everything but the kitchen sink in it. Looks good and thanks for the instant potato idea.

Hmm...I don't have any deer meat, but I wonder how that would be, made up with ground Dexter beef. I hadn't thought about using mashed potatoes to thicken stew. Gotta try it :-)
