    Bailer Buckets

A project I finally got round to and was easily done in 1/2 hr from scratch never having done one. I used the plans from http://preparednessadvice.com/well/m...p-well-bucket/ I accomplished it while listening to a podcast from https://www.survivalandpreparednessf...Report-podcast which runs well within the time it took for this project.
I attached a picture of the material used as well as a picture of the tools used and the completed project. It holds 1/2 gallon of water being made from a 2" pipe and it is 36" long and will not be too cumbersome for any member of my family. I am considering building a larger one to have ready as well. Now if we lose power long term or if the pump, even goes out like it did last summer, I can still use the well and get water without leaving the safety of the property.

I built 2 more for families I am now preparing with and I made the other 2 with just a 2

Great Idea... I have 2 wells one 35 ft deep the second 180 with top of water at 110 so this would be very doable for the deep one if needed... ;o) Thanks much!
