Simple wood projects

The previous owner was so nice as to leave us with a few gifts. He didn't want the table anymore and said he didn't care what I did with it. Besides it had a leg that was coming apart..and I needed a work table in the shop..


So I built a wood frame.


The table top isn't attached, the top was heavy enough that it sit's inside of the frame so if I need to move it the two can come apart.

My boy's rooms did not have a closet. Since we are renting right now we (I) decided to build "free standing" clothes closet.
I used 1x12 to make these "boxes".
A little sanding and a little stain..
Oh lucky me..I found some free labor laying around watching TV and basically doing nothing..



We also lightly sanded the the "edge" of the inside face. Raw wood has sharp edges and little hands could get hurt reaching in.
