pray for our ministers and our country

Lord,
I just heard that my country's leadership is dismissing your ministers from the military.
that they have been threatened with arrest and jail.
Lord, please know that there are many who still love you.
that still honor you.
we have failed you, but we desire with your assistance and help to improve.
we ask for grace and mercy.
we ask that you watch over, protect, and provide for the ministers that have been dismissed and threatened.
we ask that you speak privately to each and to their families.
I ask that you deal quickly and surely against any that are sent to harm them.
and Lord, not just the ministers, but the many that serve you in our armed forces.
we have heard of traitorous acts by those that claim leadership.
please judge the hearts and acts of those in leadership.
I ask that You hold your hand against the innocents.
there are many that do not align with the evil.
and that you open our eyes and ears and hearts to the things of You.
that you open our eyes and ears and hearts to your written Word.
lead us guide us. let us hear your voice. the perils are great.
in this time, we come to You. humbly. in repentance.
in the name of Your Son.
we come to You.... knowing believing..

may it be so.

RR this is very good. Sometimes maybe I ought to pray better

i'm thinking maybe there is trouble coming. maybe a sho nuf big controversy. maybe a fight.
i'm thinking we've turned against Him as a nation.
frequently in the past He has just dealt with the whole group of peope. the whole nation.
so,
i'm thinking we ought to all go to talking to Him now. well, we as a nation aren't "all" going to talk to Him.
so as many as can, or at least my village, my internet buddies, my family.
cause if He lifts His hand of protection, I've got a feeling a lot of folks will call out to Him then (or cursing Him!!)
so i'm thinking it would be nice if He already knew my (our) voice.
or if He'd heard me (us) talking to Him before the shtf He would be more likely to respond to someone that wasn't
just calling out cause of a sudden situation that went bad.
He might even give folks that talked to Him cause He was a friend, a little warning, or a little guidance in the night, or
lead them to the barn where there was provisions, or send one of His main helpers to help in my (our) situation.
well, I didn't mean this to go so long.

RR, thanks for your thoughts. When I see words written by someone that I trust, like you, then those words may be written for a reason. Maybe those words you wrote are a warning like you mentioned.
