the Gideon state convention is in our corner of the state this year.
most churches in our area are having Gideon speakers today.
fyi.
these men spend their own money to travel to churches to speak.
at their own expense.
the money rec'd goes to buy bibles that are distributed to students, hotels, hospitals, med. centers, etc..
many Gideons are also involved in jail, prison, etc.. ministries. at their own expense.
they support the scriptures.
join me in praying for their efforts.
i've spoken with several. all that i spoke with are very concerned "with the direction the country is headed."
