  • Prayer request for a friend

    I just learned yesterday that a close friend has a metastatic lesion of his spine. He was having significant low back pain for a few months that waxed and waned. He tolerated it and in fact he and his son went hiking/camping with me and my son about 6 weeks ago. At that time he was feeling pretty good. It worsened to the point that he was not sleeping and decided to have a MRI. That is when they found the lesion. He is having a P.E.T. scan tomorrow to see if they can find a primary source. His doctor doesn't even know if they will be able to operate on this lesion because of the location. He is numb and so is his wife. They have 5 beautiful children ranging in ages from 5-15. He knows and loves the Lord!

    My family and I are kind of numb as well as their family and ours are very close....
    Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

    Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!

        Whew thats tough! Will pray for him and them and you all for strength and guidance for the surgeons hands

              Thanks for the prayers.

              More info is coming in. He had a P.E.T. on Monday which reports the lesion has involved the Sacrum and Ilium. Had a biopsy yesterday and the report states a Chordoma. Options are being explored.

                Adding our prayers to others here.

                  Thanks for all the prayers. He had to have another biopsy as the last one was "inconclusive" even though they had told him it was a Chordoma. The new biopsy shows a Large B-Cell Follicular Lymphoma, Grade III, Stage IV. He and his wife are exploring the treatment options.
