I just got a chance to read the time line that you scanned. VERY interesting read! I always wondered why John the Baptist didn't follow in the priesthood like his father. We went to the HolyLand Experience in Orlando a couple of years ago and saw a presentation on why Jesus' birth couldn't have been on December 25th. They also cited September 23rd as the true date of His birth. I don't remember what they said about the year. I wish I had been able to buy the audio CD on that but it was the first to sell out.

Remember that those dates/days are based on the Roman calendar which the Jews adopted during the time of the Roman conquest. This was changed from basing Yahweh's set apart Holy Feast days on the Lunar moon cycle. The actual dates/days for the Fall Feasts are later than these current observations. The correct dates are the following:
Feast of Trumpets Oct 8th
Day of Atonement Oct 17th
Feast of Tabernacles Oct 22 - 29
It's a good study for those interested. The 7 major Feast Days align perfectly with what Messiah has done and is still going to do. The first 4 have been fulfilled, the 3 fall Feasts are still yet to be. Let me know if you would like more info.

The times and laws were changed during the time of the Roman rule. Instead of everything being based upon the lunar (moon) cycle as Yahweh set down, it was now the Roman calendar. Where there was the first day, second day, third day, fourth day, fifth day, sixth day and the Sabbath it became days of the week named after pagan gods such as Saturn-day and Sun-day. The biblical months became months of 28 - 31 days named after pagan gods as well. The Hebrewness of keeping time according to Yahweh's (God's) plan was thrown out the window and replaced with a man-made calendar and keeping of time. The method set down in Genesis of a day beginning and ending at sundown was changed to midnight to midnight.Originally posted by Lowdown3 View PostIt's in Scripture that the antichrist would change times and laws. I'd like to hear Rumple's take on that.
Because of that most no longer keep the Sabbath or the set-apart Feast times of our Creator. Most don't even know when they are anymore, even the Jews who have adopted much of the Roman way of keeping time and dates. Because of that we miss out on so many amazing things from Him.

Just another take on a few things you said:Originally posted by Rmplstlskn View PostI don't have much time now, but I can say that I believe the anti-messiah will be a MUSLIM, possibly the Mahdi that Iran is looking to hasten his coming... But the Mahdi does fits the role of the anti-messiah. Also, Islam will rise to power throughout the world, either willingly or by force... Islam does not go by a POPE's calendar or year count... And we all know about Sharia law...
I think Scripture proves it well, once we get over the "Rome" hurdle we have been fed so long by Christian teachers... There are some great books about this rise of Islam within Scripture. I admit I am not 100% on it, but it really begins to make sense when you look at the rise of Islam all around us, yet "Rome" and the "Roman Empire" is nowhere on the horizon...
Sadly, I don't see the USA in any significant role in the "Last Days", unless we are the "Whore of Babylon." Then it is bad news for us... I do think we are more at risk of a surprise Russia/China nuclear attack against USA cities and infrastructure than ever before in history, even more so than the Cuban Missile Crisis, so that gives one things to ponder...
But I also believe in what Scripture calls the "SECOND" or "GREATER EXODUS" that has yet to happen. Scripture tells us that it will be so great that the First Exodus, the one out of Egypt, will get only secondary mention... So eventually those who are called, those who are the "Bride," will eventually BUG OUT and return to Israel. Now that will be quite a sight! For the Lost 10 Tribes are indeed in EVERY LAND and it will be something to behold... Remember, the 12 Gates around New Jerusalem are not named, "Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic, etc..." All 12 Tribes will come out of the world and we who believe will go through one of the gates named after the 12 Tribes. Just as the Messiah in Revelation stands in the midst of the "7 Lampstands" or what is know in Temple Service, and to John, a Levite (Priest lineage), the author of Revelation, as the MENORAH.
So bring at MINIMUM, in your BOB, a SHOVEL... For Scripture tells us that it will take 9 MONTHS to clean up the carnage of the war that will break out in Israel and it also tells us that it will be done in a "special manner" and the dead and equipment buried in a "specific manner." This specific manner is also known now days as DECON! For the carnage will be nuclear, chemical and biological... Maybe HAZMAT gear would be good to have as well...
I am especially looking forward to the "Two Witnesses" coming forth... I think what they teach and prophecy will turn the world, and even Christianity, on its head... Lots of people will be scared and clueless. It is then when the LAST GREAT harvest will take place...
I am scared and somewhat fearful of these days, but very excited as well!

1. The two witnesses can be found in the Word. They are Israel and the Christian church from the time of Messiah through 1948.
2. Mystery Babylon is the same today as she was 500 years after the flood. She has not changed. She is the mystery Babylon religious system that was hated by Yahweh (God) all down through time. The mother of all pagan religions and it has its foothold in every religion today to some extent. Some more, some less but she is there.
3. Islam has been and still is the enemy of Yahweh. The Abomination that causes desolation on the Holiest site in the world has been sitting there since the 5th century, keeping believers from accessing the Holy Mountain of Yahweh. The Temple Mount, Mt. Moriah. It is exactly how Daniel said it would be. Islam and the Dome of the Rock has prevented believers from worship for 14 centuries. That truly is an abomination.
Just a few tidbits. Good topics to put some study time into. :)

Tribulation. As Yahshua and John said we are bretheren in tribulation. Tribulation has been happening on earth for the past 2000+ years. In Matthew 24 Yahshua tells us what we are to expect from the time of His leaving until His return. Over 250,000 believers are martryed every years. Millions since Yahshua died for us. Just a few weeks ago over 500 women and children were massacred because they were believers and would not become muslim. Every day people are killed for His Name. We who live in America have been blessed because we kept Israel safe and were a safehaven for His people and we have not experienced the normal persecution that believers all around the world experience. Because of that we have fallen into the "Left Behind" end times belief. Because of this many will not realize that the thief is come until it is too late. The virgins will be out of oil at the wrong time. Because they are looking for things to happen that either have already happened or will happen differently than they have been taught. Now is the time to make sure you have extra oil and be ready and watch for the thief.Originally posted by georgiamom View PostI also feel a sense of excitement. The arrival of the 2 witnesses will be amazing as a fulfillment of prophesy. I get an adrenalin rush everytime I think of the possibility of living that moment in history. I had the opportunity to teach a class of high schoolers on end time prophesy, specifically Revelations. It is my observation that there is a certain connectedness experienced by some people of faith to the prophesy of end times. I can't exactly explain it, but feel for myself that it is as if, the Holy Spirit walks with me uniquely in this regard. I felt an enthusiasm about tribulation, which seems unexpected, and a little crazy, given what is anticipated for Christians during this time. Does anyone else have this feeling?

Just a quick statement about your comment on my dates... These dates I posted are NOT based on the Roman calendar, nor the calculated Rabbinical calendar of Hillel II. It is based on what many believe to be the Torah-based calendar using the ripeness of the Barley crop in Israel (Aviv) and the VISIBLE sliver of the New Moon. It sounds as if you of the other camp, the ones that use the Equinoxes and non-visible New Moon (totally dark). I look at both camps as possibly correct, but until something goes down to PROVE one calendar or another, it is just theoretical debate. It will be known either by events coming or by the Messiah returning and RESTORING all things, so we shall see...Originally posted by Waiting View PostRemember that those dates/days are based on the Roman calendar which the Jews adopted during the time of the Roman conquest. Are you a Hebraic Preterist? I never met one of those before... :)Originally posted by Waiting View PostJust another take on a few things you said:

I have no idea what a Hebraic Preterist is - LOL! Funny name that is. I just believe that we've been living in the tribulation for the past 2000+ years and I don't believe the Left Behind dispensationalism stuff. I look to what the Bible actually says about words to get their meaning. I have read quite a bit of stuff from Ellis Skolfield and think he's right on the money on quite a few things. He's definitely not mainstream which, to me, is a good thing. The narrow path and all that. As long as it lines up with Scripture that is. I'm also an OT buff and love reading the Holy Scriptures to get out all of the amazing nuggets hidden there. If you want to read a bit of Ellis' work you can get free downloads on his site. www.fishhouseministries.com His teaching of Daniel and Revelation is pretty eye opening. I also do the online free OT study at www.torahclass.com. It's taught by a Christian who is quite educated in ancient Hebrew language and culture so it's very interesting and no denominational slant.Originally posted by Rmplstlskn View PostAre you a Hebraic Preterist? Yes and you are correct on the calendar. It's been so messed up since the time of Constantine and is definitely different than the orginal by the Creator. We go by the new moon (non-visable). There is some good free teachings on that at http://www.yhrim.com/index.html
Thanks for your comments! :)

Thanks! I wonder how many people realize that Hallelujah / Halleluyah is HEBREW for "Praise YAH," the poetic short form of Yahuah / Yahweh / YHWH?Originally posted by servantofYHWH View PostHalleluyah, some one is teaching the truth about the Feasts of YHWH!
Todah, achi (Thank you my brother),
Ovadyah
Sadly, I also see Hallelujah blasphemed and taken in VAIN in commercials, movies and the like in the secular world... But I believe they will be held in account for this...
