I need the number of the i2 tube used in the Armasight Sirius MG - "MX-11769 or 10160" etc. I remember reading it was a Russian tube in a crappy Chinese housing, I need the number of the tube type so I know what kind of shell/housing it fits into so it can be transferred into a good housing.

Don't deal in Armasight NV but the differences in the two tube TYPES you listed are as follows:
11769 is the nomenclature for a I2 tube with GAIN CONTROL- it will have the pigtail
10160 is the nomenclature for a I2 tube WITHOUT gain control- it will NOT have a pigtail attached to it.
Can you clarify what your trying to do? Pull the tube from an "Armasight Sirius" and put it in something else?
Do you know anything about the tube itself? Usually places like you mentioned do not give a data sheet with the tube. 2nd or 3rd gen? Green phopshor or white? Any "hum" (autogating) in higher light environments?
Pic even would help.
Tubes will have markings on them on the side that it closer to the eye- manufacturer, tube type/grade, serial number, etc.www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

What I meant was essentially you mainly have two types of tubes- those with gain control (pigtail) which are 11769 and those without gain control (no pigtail) which are 10160.
Gen 2 tube, possibly Russian without any real data on it?
Have you opened it up? Do you have a pic of the tube?
This is how an 11769 Elbit tube (with gain control, hence the pig tail) looks.
Does yours look like this?www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

I can't say what it looks like because I haven't opened the shell/housing. It has gain control so I would say it's a 11769. The housing is crap, the diameter of the eyepiece is really small compared to a PVS14. If I could put the tube in something better it would be a major improvement - a telescope, PVS14 housing with a bigger lens diameter, anything.
