    CLAPS, MAPS AND TRAPS!

    What!?!

    First and foremost- CLAPS

Thank YOU for another awesome year! We are now starting our 23RD YEAR IN BUSINESS, thanks to YOU!

Business was great in 2014 but it was a year of personal strain as multiple extended family members dealt with cancer of various types and misc. other medical problems. Despite this, business continued as usual and I'm very happy to report that we experienced no delays in shipping outside of normal, listed lead times for various products.

We appreciate your patience with us this last year as it was an extremely taxing year for us.

    MAPs-

More and more manufacturers are beginning to require retailers to use their "Minimum Advertised Price" as the lowest amount an item can be ADVERTISED for.

We here at JRH think this is utter BS and an affront to capitalism! Seriously! However many manufacturers now make retailers agree in writing to not ADVERTISE a price below their Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). Since we are a legitimate business we will have to comply with this ADVERTISING policy.

So..... you'll notice more products wherein the item description starts with CALL FOR BEST PRICE. This circumvents the MAP pricing as we are not "advertising" the price when you call on the phone. So don't be afraid to call during regular hours for items that have this notation :)

    YEAH CAPITALISM!!!

    TRAPS-

The one downside to 2014 was the amount of
ATTEMPTS of fraudulent orders- several hundred
attempts. Thankfully due to some judicious actions on our end, we avoided this becoming a nightmare for us. However it's important to understand that this
is happening. If you are asked for more verification that you are indeed the cardholder when you order, understand this is why this is happening. Don't take it personal, but do understand why it's happening. A couple hundred bad apples tend to spoil it for the whole orchard... :)
