I visited a huge multi day ag expo today.
mostly ag related but many related booths and events.

I only saw one gun dealer and one optics.
flir 24 was 2000
pvs 14 was 3200
these were the dealers "expo special prices."
there was a crowd around the booth discussing all the good deals.

Just saw the flir 24 at he Reno show.. Guys "show special" was $2400

I been watching the "Surviving the Cut" on Discovery about the various Special Ops schools (Ranger, Diver, Force Recon etc.) and they were using a FLIR on the Diver class at the final test and it was amazing. You can find these videos on Netflix.
