  • Is a "deal" really a "deal?"

So their is a pathetic guy out there that has based his entire business model on copying what works for SUCCESSFUL preparedness companies and then trying to price snipe them to get business.

He gets a few people here and there that haven't been around long enough to see him for what he is.

The problem? He doesn't ship in a timely matter at all. I can't tell you how many "I've been waiting 4 weeks on NVG from ....." calls we get.

Worse off is that some confuse us with him since now he is advertising a similar item somewhere we advertise- he's trying to ride the coattails of a successful business who actually DOES deliver products in a timely fashion.

So we've been getting more of these types of emails, confusing us with "that guy"

You have received a contact request from a visitor to your storefront at http://www.jrhenterprises.com:

I'm sorry i confused you with another vendor.

So essentially, this dude bought from "another vendor" A MONTH AGO and still has not received his product!!! And I'm sure he was probably charged upfront for the full balance and is still waiting for his product which he HOPES will be remotely decent (GOOD LUCK!!!).

Was a $50. price snipe worth it?

Hell I would matched or BEATEN the price on a BETTER UNIT AND had it shipped within a day or two for Visa or Mastercard order!!! (Checks, Money orders and Paypal does add to the processing time on NV orders).

    COULDA SHOULDA WOULDA

Sometimes saving a buck or two isn't worth it in the overall scheme of things......

Customers need to wise up about situations like these. I have known a bunch of people that are always going for the "best price". Don't care anything about service during or after the sale. Then they spend a ton of time dealing with crap products and crap service. They never see the advantage of doing the deal once.

I'll gladly spend a little more to deal with people that are honest and efficient. I'll continue using you guys. Every experience has been a good one.

Preps are just like any other tool. If you buy good quality from reputable sources then you usually are good to go. I have tools I bought 40 years ago that are still very servicable. The ones I've had to replace are the ones that got lost along the way. I don't necessarily buy the most expensive, but I have standards of quality depending upon frequency of use, etc..

I don't buy often, but I've used you guys once or twice and have been extremely satisfied with the service, quality and turnaround times.
