And no I don't mean JUST Christmas.....
Yes NV and Thermal are selling like mad just like AR's are...
As of yesterday afternoon- 12/19/12 Orders placed by 10am in the morning for PVS14's that were paid with a Visa or Mastercard were shipped THE SAME DAY.
Last day to get one shipped before Christmas is by 10am 12/21/12... That being said, I'd get it in today just in case
Now to the political side of things......
YES it is affecting sales also, mainly of Thermal and Night Vision units.
NO we are not facing any shortages YET
SOME are saying that Night vision and Body armor will be included in any new weapons ban. I DON'T KNOW. Folks have been talking about things like that for years now. Course they TALKED about the assault weapons ban for years also.
CURRENTLY, all we have to do is sign an ITAR form to verify that we do not ship any NV out of the country- we have shipped NOTHING outside the U.S. since 2000. However they may later require more "paperwork". But RIGHT NOW, their is NOTHING ON THE INDIVIDUAL USER'S END.
We meet people a couple of times every week that want to come to S. GA, look at and purchase NV, Thermal, etc. You just need to CALL a day ahead of time and we'll set up a time. We own 3 businesses now so time is usually very short. All pickup in person deals are cash only.
Having three spare black rifles in the safe that never see the light of day is great and all, but someone that can FIGHT AT NIGHT will eat your lunch one day..... :) Sell a couple of the black rifles, take the proceeds and be able to FIGHT AT NIGHT also.
We do accept trades- email or call for details- gold, silver (where we can), quality AK's and 9mm Glocks, etc.
