  • Group buys, specials, closeouts, read first

From time to time we will list group buys, specials and closeouts here from the site sponsor-

CURRENT: A few spaces left in Nov 7/8 Night vision/carbine/pistol class NIGHT VISION THERMAL IMAGERS PVS-14 MONOCULAR NIGHT VISION NIGHT VISION ACCESSORIES WEAP

These will be any number of different preparedness related items just over or sometimes even below original cost. The rules are simple:

    1. You must be a member of this board.

    2. These deals will be listed at no set times, i.e, you'll have to keep checking back here to catch them.

    3. These deals will be limited to a maximum of FIVE days time. I.e, If something started on August 5th, the last day to catch it would be August 10th. This is the only way I've figured out to be able to offer these on the website without having them hanging out there for long periods of time. Sorry but no "I missed this by a day can you still hook me up?" emails AFTER the deal is over.

    4. Shipping for the item will be listed in the ITEM DESCRIPTION and that is what you will be charged for the shipping on the item. We don't do any of the "free shipping" gimmicks wherein a $5. can of corn costs you $20. but the shipping was "free." In reality those types of deals are marketing scams wherein the shipping costs are simply factored in to the item price ahead of time. Yet people fall for those "Free" and "one price" shipping scams all day long. I don't believe in playing these games.

    5. Your order is charged when it's getting ready to be shipped, NOT when you first put the order in online.

    6. These specials will be just over or sometimes even below original cost. We have always shipped quickly but it's important for you to be an adult and understand that if you order Tuesday it will not arrive at your door the next day. In other words, make sure you allow a reasonable amount of time (most orders go out in 1-5 business days) for processing, and then understand it can take a couple days for UPS or USPS to do their part. I'd like these specials to be a "win-win situation" for both of us, but to bluntly honest, having someone call/email asking where their deeply discounted items are a day after they place the order will not behoove me to continue offering these :) Can't really think of a nice way to say it, sorry. We do have a couple of other business ventures and an active life, so you'll have to give us a couple days to process the orders of any in stock items. Special order items will be listed as such. A careful look at the item description will tell you how long any special order items might take. If a special order item says "allow 2 weeks from factory" it MAY NOT take 2 weeks, but don't call us two days after you ordered asking where it is.

    7. You MUST put "s and p special" in the "special instructions" section of the order form if you use online ordering. As I said, I'd like to do this as a courtesy to folks on this site, therefore please be sure to put that note in the special instructions section of your order form.

    8. Your welcome to pay via Visa, Mastercard, Discover or paypal on the site. Your welcome to send a check or money order but due to the short time periods of these specials, you'll need to EMAIL and make sure we hold the item(s) for you.

    9. We reserve the right to discontinue these at any time and for any reason.

At this time, we will be the only company participating in these on this site. Your welcome to email me and we can talk about offering your products here but do not make commercial postings on this site- per the forum rules you agreed to upon registration.

Feel free to email us suggestions for products you like to see here- jrhenterprises@dishmail.net

Thanks. Looking forward to this being beneficial to all of us.

Ditto to what RR said. I have bought from JRH as well and quality and price has always been good!

          Possibly a stupid question...

When you ship, what is the packaging like? I've thought of buying a couple of things, but hesitate a little because of an experience with the UPS delivery guy who remarked that I have been "keeping him busy lately." Some of the packages he delivered came from companies like "Emergency Essentials" (with big green lettering on every side of the box!) - kind of obvious. I'm not interested in his knowing any more than he already does about my private life.

This is definitely a real concern.

One of the reasons I choose "JRH Enterprises" instead of "JRH Survival and end of the world supplies!" (LOL) was to protect the CUSTOMER from having CC statements that said "end of the world supplies Inc" on it, or boxes that came that way.

The only standard boxes we ever used were #10 cases boxes that had simply our name and address on them- again nothing "survival, emergency, preparedness, or end of the world" on it. That was years ago.

In an effort to save YOU money we re-use boxes as much as possible. I don't order anything from any place that says "emergency" on it, so nothing goes out of here that says that on it.

Smaller orders usually always go Priority mail in a Priority mail flat rate box ($12. to ship box that we can pack a lot of stuff in :) and those are simply red white and blue postal boxes. The address labels say "JRH Enterprises".

Think about this- a charge shows on your CC from "Emergency and Disaster Survival Supplies for the end of the world Incorporated" it's pretty dang obvious what it's for.... A charge shows up for "JRH Enterprises" and it could be ANYTHING- flowers for your wife, RC model car for your child, etc. ;)

BTT for complete explanation about the use of this subforum.

This is not the place for "extreme couponing" chats and miscellaneous type things.
