Hello, I am new to this site but not new to Preparedness, as I have been in the preparedness industry on and off for 15 years. About 2 years ago, I lost a bunch of $$$$$$$$$$$, and so I thought... wow, maybe I should pack up my wife and 7 kids and move to some rural community and buy a farm. Well it wasn't the end of the world like I thought, but it was the end of my world...
So here I am, still looking at farms, and putting a lot of time into studying farming, agriculture, permaculture, traditional skills, and developing connections with local people...
The shift from City life to country life was/is more challenging that I thought it would be, but here I am and here I will stay... I feel much more alive in the country, and much closer to God.
I guess there are fewer distractions out here in the Ozarks. Now, if I could only make the kind of money I used to...
