Hey everyone,
I've been lurking around your forums off and on for the better part of a year now and decided it was time to try to become a useful member finally.
I'm a father of 4 boys, and we live in South Carolina. I've been really interested in preparedness training for a while now but finally kicked myself in the rear end enough to start DOING something about it.
Like many here, I'm sure, my finances are limited and will prevent me from having ALL the niceties that I would like to have in the event the SHTF. However, I'm finally taking the plunge and have amassed a few lists of things to get started on as time and money allow.
I wish I could say I am going to devote great amounts of time and effort to this, but right now, I know that won't happen. I will do what I can, when I can and hope that nothing catastrophic comes to pass while I'm gearing up for whatever the world dishes out.
I really appreciate all the information you folks share here and have learned a lot in my time lurking about. I hope that I can contribute in some way as I get more educated in the ways of preparing for the worst, while hoping for the best.
