    Salutations from Saint Petersburg, Florida

    Hey... my name is Brandon. I've been following (mainly just reading) a couple different survival/prepping websites (survivalblog & AR15) and somehow stumbled upon this place while watching some YouTube videos on prepping.

    Anyway, I'm 27 (28 on Monday) and from Saint Petersburg, Florida. I was born & raised here, however I just moved back last Summer after attending Bible College up in Springfield, Missouri over the last 6 years. I just got engaged on September 19th and will be getting married on May 21st, 2011 to the most amazing and Godly girl I've ever known! :) I've also been a Christian since I was 10 years old and Jesus Christ is my best friend and my sole motivating factor for life itself.

    I've got many hobbies, most of which are outdoor activities... such as hiking, camping, exploring, fishing, nature photography (rarely), and metal detecting & treasure hunting. I've been a member on another forum for treasure hunting & metal detecting (forum.treasurenet.com) for the past 5 or 6 years now.

    Yep, guess that's about it for me....

        And I agree already BH, that was the very first thing I've noticed after finding this website. That really makes me happy because of all the years I've spent on the treasure hunting forum and all of the thousands of posts I've made, many of them were pulled because some of my comments were being regarded as religious in nature... and I'm pretty sure I only stated the name of God and really never said much more than that unless someone wanted to discuss things further. I always try to keep a high regard for others and how they feel about certain things and never try to go shoving "religion" down someone's throat. I'm just not that kind of guy. I do enjoy good discussions though, and I'm looking forward to getting to know some new people. Thanks again for all the welcomes!

            Heh, thank you... I appreciate it! I just had to turn off my mobile alerts for Facebook because all my treasure hunting buddies & friends are apparently starting quite early with the "Happy Birthday" wishes... lol
