Links in sig lines, spamming, advertising your site etc. read this

Due to a rash of problems the last month we are once again re-iterating the following-

"You cannot do business openly or privately on this forum without permission."

What does that mean?

That means don't come in with a spamming post about your multi level marketing scam/food business.

That means no one cares to hear about your wee wee enlargement pills, devices, etc.

That means don't put links in your sig line to your business.


If in doubt- ASK. That means BEFORE you post or put it in your sig line.

I can guarantee you this, we have lost ALL PATIENCE on this matter. It has taken up a LOT of time for our mods- which help out for FREE- and for me. I have no further patience for this rudeness and lack of respect so therefore it will just mean a banning for those that persist.

Your little "message" or spam won't be up for more than 5 minutes, it will be deleted and you will be banned, so it's NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Devote some time and money to real marketing instead of spamming other people's forums.

It isn't hard folks, you joined a survival forum, we have to assume that you want to actually be here, contribute and learn. DO IT. After a fair amount of time doing just that, feel free to email me and we will discuss allowing you to put up links to your business, etc. AFTER A FAIR AMOUNT OF TIME. In other words, if you have any less than 100 posts forget about it.

Folks, I don't care if it's a "non commercial" site. If you are inconsiderate enough to join and on your VERY FIRST few posts start linking to your survival site, I look at it the same way other forums do- ba bye. We have made that abundantly clear upteem times.

I've left many a visitor messages early on telling people to just "hang out for a while, get a post count going, see if you can HELP some people and then in a couple months we'll let you put up a link to your survival site."

You know how many actually DID that? ZERO!

Why? Cause that's EFFORT. But effort shows CHARACTER.

Contrast them with guys like Jerry Young and Urban Survivalist. They came here, tried to help folks, showed a helpful attitude and stuck around. I sent both of them messages saying "Hey feel free to link to your book or your site." They didn't ask, but I respected the fact that they were trying to help others and offered it to them.

I have TONS of respect for those guys, I have ZERO respect for the person that comes in and on post 1 says "Hey I got this site..." Booyah, ba bye. Yep, I don't care if you sell widgets off of it, arrange "meet ups" or whatever.

Down this way, people that don't show respect, don't use their head, are pushy are said to "not have any social skills." I think a lot of people in this movement need to start working on those "social skills" cause if you do have to interact with people in the PAW, it is NOT going to be over the phone, from behind a cash register or via email. You walk into another man's house and crap on the rug, their won't be a nice policeman to call to get the pissed off person you disrespected off of you.

You have to be able to use your brain and have some "people skills."

Why is he so special?" that you would just have to try an explain to people who don't want to hear a reasonable explanation, I'll pull it. No hard feelings. This is a good site and I don't want to be a point of controversy.

I was merely using you and Urban as examples of people that were helpful, not trying to put either one of you on the spot.

Just saying, as a newbie, I appreciate the LIFESAVING, INVALUABLE information this site provides.

I find responsible examples, blogs, and responsibly(and respectfully) posted links. I thank the mods and everyone that shares their info, knowledge and questions. I learn as much from other newbie questions that I may never have even thought to ask.
