Brand new to this website....hope to learn a lot from all of you. Want to do some micro farming on my small rural acreage. Would like to be able to feed my self and all involved in this effort. Enjoyed reading "The Good Life" by Scott and Helen Nearing; "One Second After"; "Blacklisted News"; "Survivalblog".

I liked some the Nearing's work also, but it seemed to be heavy in socialism which was a turn off to me.
