Been Gone So Long.....

...sound like the start of a song lyric. I'm not new, but I have been blocked from this site by some kind of malware detector for several months. I actually thought the site was kaput. Weird thing is, I got blocked when I tried to come here from a wide variety of computers (home, IPad, work PC).

Anyway, glad to be able to come here again. What do I know anything about? Well, we've been raising some layer chickens for the last couple of years, we have an espalier orchard coming in nicely, have done some raised bed gardening and this year we're trying some straw bale gardening.

Putting in a large "decorative" pond for water storage, will collect roof water into it. Want to put in a Lopi wood buring stove insert, too -- so many beautiful old ash trees dying (ash borer) on my property seems a dang shame not to get some serious use out of the resulting firewood.

This year I plan to get more serious about some weapons training (AR, sidearm). Have the shootin' irons, but little work with them beyond famfire.

We had a couple of days in December where we had ANOTHER SITE ON THE SHARED SERVER have problems with malware. That started the warning, we spent hundreds of dollars to clear up SOMEONE ELSE'S PROBLEM and I sent out numerous emails about the problem. I personally responded to over 600 emails related to this. EVERYONE that sent an email about it got a response.

People that never cleared the "cache" in their computer kept seeing the "warning." We made notations about that, even sent out a mass email to all forums members a while after that.

Really no other way to notify people other than what we did. The site is now monitored for "malware" and misc. crap daily by a professional service.

Thanks for the explanation. Somehow missed the emails. I'm certainly not finding fault, and now I understand the "cache clearing" bit I will know how to respond if we get infected by a neighbor again.
