It says 'introduce yourself' so--- I'm from NKC-MO (northland Kansas City, Missouri) I have been prepping for several years but am still basically a beginner, learning as i go, and as i save money for preps. I have finally gotten my wife on board with prepping because of all the crazy stuff going on in the world and U.S. I am a very proud retired Army-guard guy (basically means i put in 26 years in active Army, Army reserve and Army National guard as a 13B30 & 56A but can't draw until i'm 64ish) with a wonderful wife and 4 boys. I'm not much of a poster but i will try, I also am a firm believer in 'if you don't work you don't eat'. :) There's a lot more but not important. Looking forward to getting to know the site and the people here. I don't have a book, nor a website, nor anything else to promote so should be safe there. :) In the registration it ask for a referral but i couldn't enter one and I don't know if Jerrydyoung is on this site or not but wanted to give him credit i found this site through a comment on his site. And if that is promoting a site, I am sorry it is not my intent only to inform that he was the referral. Thank you & God bless
    Larry

Welcome. Great bunch of guy's here on the site and lots of knowledge to share. Several of us on the board are from central Missouri if you ever stumble out this way, also several on the Oklahoma side. Be sure to check out the short stories for great fiction and do not miss the podcasts and video's as they are one of the best collections on the web.

Man, those Muslims sure are worried about what they eat. I went over there and all I heard was Alohaaaaa Snack-bar.

Thank you all. I have, they are good stories. I couldn't write if my life depended on it so i don't criticize, but they are really good so far. We and a couple other families go canoeing down in MO every year, we usually go to the Labanon area or straight south to Noel, this year we are trying the Illinois river in East OK. we Love OK too, we go to Little Sahara every fall to ride 4 Wheelers, its near Waynoka. Thanks for the welcomes.
