  • Hi from NW Texas

Hi. Thank you for accepting me to your group. In the short time I've known of your site and read comments, I'm impressed with many of the comments posted and have recognized respected members of other forums such as this. We live approximately 1 hour south of Wichita Falls and raise cattle, chickens, etc. No garden the last 2 years because of the drought but hopefully, this year will give us enough rain to allow things to grow. I'm looking forward to learning more here and hopefully with have something of import to share, too.

              welcome from Florida.
We too have chickens and a vegetable plot, but no cows. Got some horses, though.

Welcome! Have you tried a deep mulch system for growing a garden? lay drip irrigation lines, plant, cover with a deep mulch- 6-8 inches, except on top of the plants. Good luck-
