Hellow from Texas!
Name is Bill, I'm 55 years old so I have "been around a bit". The political landscape has got me thinking of getting better able to handle "what this way comes" so to speak. So that's why, I'm here.
I think I owe my getting started in "prepping" to Nutinfancy on YouTube. He really got me to thinking about what is going on in this ol' world and what we should do to prepare for it. Other youtubers got me going even more, Yankeeprepper, Patriotnurse, Sootch00, etc.
I used to be a big gardener, fifteen years or so ago. Age and time, commuting to a job forty miles away have left my gardens fallow. Well I have the urge to get going and do what I need to prepare.
I am an Assistant Scoutmaster for the Troop in my town, I am an Amateur Radio operator and in charge of the Radio Room at our County EOC. I love fast cars, and guns of all kinds. (esp. XDm's and Black rifles!). Hope to learn a lot here.
