You mentioned in your first post that some of your land was in pasture. Do you have any livestock? My wife and I have horses, and we keep chickens for the eggs.

Not yet, but we plan on chickens, goats, maybe a calf or two. I was raised on a cattle ranch, so I know a little something about horses and cattle. We've been building our cabin for 3 years now.
