    Hi,
    I just joined the forum and I wanted to say thanks for for letting me join and I'm anxious to dig into the threads. I'm from Joplin, MO and I was one of the lucky one's to make it out of the tornado unharmed last year and I got a real eye opener about the effects of mass devastation. I have been a novice prepper for about 2 years but I came across this forum while searching Google for information about supplies for my tornado shelter. Anyway, just wanted to say hi before I start "lurking" :D

            I went up there. It was bad, real bad. Glad you are doing good and there are a few things on here on shelters n such that may be of interest.

                Howdy from another Okie! Can't imagine what you guys went through in Joplin. Glad to see you are interested in preparing for the worst.

                        Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I agree that I was very fortunate that we made it out safely. I can look down my street and see two blocks away where houses were ripped from their foundations. We appreciate the prayers from everyone. There are still a lot of people displaced even a year after the tornado.
