  • Hey there, from the middle of Montana......

    Hi everyone, I've been viewing a lot of the threads and posts here for a few weeks now.

    From what I've seen, there are a lot of very well informed people writing in. It's great to be able to learn other's views, also other perspectives I simply hadn't considered. This is a great place to try and diminish some of my ignorance concerning prepping.

    I'm 71 years old, and have always reasoned that we should take care of ourselves, and be as helpful to others as we can. I've always tried to lean on the Boy Scout motto of "Be Prepared".

    While none of us can know the immediate future, it just seems silly to not observe the things that are taking place in this nation and around the world, and not try to make decisions accordingly. Though we may not be able to easily change some of the things that are "trying our souls", we are fully capable of preparing for some of the things that we can easily see coming.

    Learning from you good folks will certainly help in my decisions ahead. I hope to try and take advantage of the knowledge on this site, and surely hope I can contribute for others.

      I'll have to admit that when I read the title of your thread Merle Haggard started singing in my head. You know, the song where he's tired of life in the big city and wants to be "somewhere in the middle of Montana." Often I'd like to be there too!

                    Howdy from Oklahoma Sourkraut. Me and Patriot Lady are fairly new here too. There's a ton of information to be had here and good folks willing to take the time to answer questions. We're enjoying getting to know likeminded folks and learning from them.

                              Welcome to S & P we are glad you are here. Lots of good people and info here.

                              Do a quick search before asking your question, we have talked about a lot of things so it might be covered.

                              Include meta tags on threads you start so that they will be easier to search for.

                              Check out the blog articles there is some good info there.

                              Look on youtube for videos made by PAW Productions - delta69alpha and also Survival Report.

                              Lastly share your experience with the rest of us.
