  • Hello from Colorado

We are located in the Denver area and have been into prepping for a few years. Kind of convenient now that the media has a word out there for us to use to describe it. We were dong the more sustainable lifestyle on a small ozarks farm for a bit before family drug us back to Colorado. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to head back to acreage in the country so we can get out milk goats and big garden going again.

Into guns of course, but have been getting back to my traditional archery roots and teaching my young sons that route as well lately. We have done aquaculture a bit. I am currently working on the design for a small kitchen herb sized system that might be marketable, but who knows.

I am a welder by trade. Used to be a wrech monkey so I tend to be more mechanically inclined. Started out as a jarhead grunt so I think that has jaded me to a pretty blunt view of the world.

Hopefully I have some useful stuff to add here. I know I have plenty of reading to do. Learning is one process that never stops

Welcome to S & P we are glad you are here. Lots of good people and info here.

Do a quick search before asking your question, we have talked about a lot of things so it might be covered.

Include meta tags on threads you start so that they will be easier to search for.

Check out the blog articles there is some good info there.

Look on youtube for videos made by PAW Productions - delta69alpha and also Survival Report.

Lastly share your experience with the rest of us.

I used to live in Denver about 12 years ago, Thornton/Northglenn area. Did a lot of windows/siding/gutter jobs out there....I miss seeing the mountains there's just something about them that is magnetic to me.
