    looking to learn all I can and hear different opinions from all of you.
    been prepping about 1 year. preps include:
    48 cans of spam (yes, spam. I like spam)
    15 lg cans of chicken breast
    127 canned veggies and potatos
    25 cans tuna
    43 cans salmon
    300 lbs rice and 75 lbs assorted pasta in mylar and O2 absorber
    75 lbs barley in mylar and O2 absorber
    375 lbs assorted beans in mylar and O2 absorber
    50 lbs granulated calcium hypocholrite
    4 shelves of first aid and personal hygiene supplies
    have also stocked dozens of coloring books, crayons, and chalk for the grandchildren
    mossberg 12ga pump w/300 rds 9 pellet, 150 rds bird shot,
    taruas 357 revolver in s/s w/300 rds 357 mag, 300 rds 38
    ruger 10/22 w/1700 rds
    No where near ready, but working on it.

          Welcome to S & P we are glad you are here. Lots of good people and info here. Do a quick search before asking your question, we have talked about a lot of things so it might be covered. Check out the blog articles there is some good info there. Include meta tags on threads you start so that they will be easier to search for. Look on youtube for videos made by PAW Productions - delta69alpha and also Survival Report. Lastly share your experience with the rest of us.

              Welcome smokepit! I've been an Okie most of my life but was born in D.C. and raised in Camp Springs, MD(moved when I was 15). Looks like you've made a good start. I don't think anyone ever reaches the point that they are finished Prepping! LOL Everytime you think you're done you think of something else!

                          Another welcome from Oklahoma! So glad you are here, and that you are getting prepared as well. We have been "stocking up" for several years, but now we feel that there is so much to do in possibly a small amount of time.
