  • Hello everyone

I found this site the other day and was pleased to find there's other people interested in the same things I am. A little on my background, I'm 53 years old and live in Connecticut I'v been camping since I was in diapers and spent 30 years backpacking in the high peaks of the Adirondacks (only in the winter).
I got my first rifle when I was 8 years old and now I am an NRA certified pistol and reloading instructor and a range saftey officer. I'm an avid fisherman and aquatic food collector (crawdads, turtles and such). I love gardening and canning and have even grown my own hops for making beer.
I am currently living in a house built in 1750 that my wife and I restored back to its orignal style, unfortunately its in the city but as soon as it's sold we're beatin feet to the country, I like the concept of off the grid living.
As well as learning new things here (your never too old) hopefully I'll be able to offer some helpful insight.

Check out the blog articles there is some good info there. Lastly share your experience with the rest of us. Look on youtube for videos made by PAW Productions - delta69alpha and also survival report.

with your experience be sure to check out the armory section....I am sure you can add to some of those threads.
