  • Hello from Germany

    Hi all

    im Daniel from Germany
i tried very hard building a small urban homestead here in germany, i had good luck with animals like rabbits and chickens, but if i just look at a plant that does not listen to the name zucchini, it dies...
    but now i sold everything..

anyway, im an engineer ( tooling and quality ) and was a while in chattenooga TN for Volkswagen, i liked it so much that im immigrating in 12 days to Chattanooga Tennessee

the plan is to buy a small farm and start all over again.... i hope i can grow a second plant species to accompany my zucchinis..
ill get chickens again, becouse i love chickens.. best animals there are.. sitting in the sun relaxing and listening to the gluck gluck gack gack of the chickens.. ahh thats life...
my wife wants a horse... that means i need one also.. and learn how to drive one, and then i have 2 small children... guess they would want a horse also...

then i would like a few pigs... i think they're like chickens.. eat everything and have a personality..

offcourse i would like to learn how to hunt when im in the USA.. i have butchered rabbits ( lots of them) and chickens.... (dont like butchering chickens, i love them to much) but i have never butchered something big.. so i would love to learn...

my wife and i we love fishing, and while i allready have butchered i fish, i have never butchered and eaten a fish i caught myself.. thats one of my dreams i can do in the USA..

sorry, i could go on and on and on...
and sorry for all the mistakes and gramatic errors, but English is not my native language.. atleast not yet..

Haha, that's great. Glad to hear you liked it in Chattanooga, it is a beautiful area. Good luck with the move, as that is really a big life choice to make.

Oh and welcome, I live in the other side of the state (W. TN)
