Ive been crusin' 'round the site. Lots of nice info. PJaster, don't get me started on 'remember when....'. Heck, when I grew up my folks had no air conditioning, there was only ONE TV channel and it was black and white and went off the air at 10:00 PM. I'll bet that skateboard was made from those lovely steel roller skates you had to clamp on the shoes with a key, no? Funny thing is they rolled faster than today's skates for kids. When I first heard about skateboards only hoodlums messed with'em. You know, the kids who wore heel taps, and (gasp!) blue jeans to school. Claymore,
Backwodsman is my fav magazine and not just because they published some of my how-to stuff (I have a subscription just about for life....) but because I love seeing how others 'think outside the box'. Part of what I consider survival is the ability to make up in ingenuity what is lacking in money, time or gear.Last edited by kappydell; 10-30-2011, 10:57 PM.

"Hey" from W. TN.
Hope you enjoy yourself here.
I spent many a nights camping and fishing in the woods of Wisconsin while growing up in Indiana. One of my parents favorite areas was Lac Du Flambeau.
We also had close friends in Green Bay.Last edited by TyrannyUnleashed; 10-31-2011, 07:03 PM.If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
