    Just joined (IL)

    I have been a sort of, part-time prepper since 1983. Part time because of work, sort of depending on money.

    I am now retired and working hard at it. I live in a very small agbiz town and I won't be 'bugging out'. Based on my experience, when/if the SHTF does occur, I think living in a community with enouigh resources would be a much better way to endure.

    I am hoping to learn things here and maybe contribute.

    I believe many of today's social ills and political party bickering could be solved by the simple implementation of legalized dueling.

                            Nah, There are a few of us here.

                            I'm stuck in the Northeastern part, at least for the next 7-10 years until I can retire and bugout for good.

                              Welcome to S & P we are glad you are here. Lots of good people and info here. Do a quick search before asking your question, we have talked about a lot of things so it might be covered. Check out the blog articles there is some good info there. Lastly share your experience with the rest of us. Look on youtube for videos made by PAW Productions - delta69alpha and also survival report.
