This is the first posting I have ever made on one of these sites, although, I have been an avid reader. In the last 2 years, I have found myself increasingly concerned about where the Republic is headed, and have felt an internal God push to prepare. I liken it to Joseph in Egypt...a time of want is on the horizon and I believe that God desires a foundation of believers to carry on. I was not particularly skilled in anything at the time of my awakening, but now dabble in medical preparedness given my background as a Registered Nurse. I have also begun preparing my home with food stores and an understanding of some basic homesteading skills. I am far from expert, but I have come a long way. My husband and I have a home in the suburbs, but we have also been blessed to have a house if not off grid, at least somewhat removed from the normal flow. It is where most of our preparations have been made. I have a lot of concerns about recognizing when it is time to move. I have been praying for God to direct, but I also know that he expects me to be doing my homework. I would love to hear from others about their thoughts on "the when." I am a little nervous about having finally spoken on one of these sites. I look forward to feeling less alone in this process.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you are here. As far as the "when", I'm not sure anyone will know (unless it is major). Just keep planning for the time the "when" comes along.Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

hi,welcome to the board,in my opinion,at least these are a few of the things im looking for to tell me its time to G.O.O.D (get out of dodge) is one or more of these things happening..in no certain order..stock market(s) both abroad and here crashing,banks ordered closed by the feds (aka as bank holiday,just like FDR did) all of sudden NO POWER,(EMP),civial unrest,riots,due to entitlement cuts (free housing,food stamps,welfare programs) and also watch out for (if it even hits the news) waking up some morning and china refusing to loan us any more money (i understand we borrow currently 41 cents of every dollar spent) and also,some probably arent aware if Obummer signs the bill on his desk now,he can shut down the internet,for up to 4 months or longer (for the good of national security,BS at its best) good luck to all and stay freeI HAD RATHER HAVE 12 HONEST PEOPLE JUDGING ME,AS TO HAVE 6 CARRYING ME...Comment

I think it is like John Wayne said..."you'll know the difference when its time". Trust in God and like minded individuals...never stop planning...play "what if", and think about basics.
