While I have been fascinated with a rather abstract concept of prepping since I was very young (building thousands of wood block forts and defending them with piles of green army men), only recently did I recognize that there were many potential situations which could lead to a real need for being prepped. Compared to most people in this overall community, I am a survival and preparedness "greenhorn," but I am learning... I am grateful for the generous sharing of information that goes on here and on other online forums. Maybe someday, I'll be able to share a single nugget of information which will be useful to someone else.
