I am somewhat new to prepping. Getting my husband on board. Still have a long way to go. Have a son, daughter-in-law and grandson that just giggle when they hear me talk about prepping. But hopefully I will be prepared so that they will not suffer if something does happen. Love this forum and getting lots of great ideas. Thanks to all that post and give us newbies information on what we need to be doing.

Ask them what they think they are going to eat when everyone is laid off work for a while. Prepping is for more then natural disasters. Laid off work for a while, snow storms that keep you from getting out, large thunderstorms that shutdown power, etc.

Welcome to the group, seems to be some good people here.

                        Welcome!

Sometimes I'm not sure if DH is *really* on board or if he is just humoring his slightly insane wife. lol He has been really good natured about it, though.
