  • Howdy.

    Just another hapless noob.

I am 52. Have given preparedness much thot, since my early teens.

I own a small ranchette ... I own guns. NRA Life.

I am an honarably discharged Navy Veteran.

I am trained in Multimedia First Aid, CPR, PMAB and patrol procedures.

I am Christian, SO, I am VERY tolerant. (Yahshua is).

I am just completing my modular/scalable "system of backpacks" and am expanding and securing gear and knowledge to support sustained, independent subsistence ... or better.

I plan to do lots of camping, in the next year, and bike-packing, to flesch-out my gear and daily procedures, etc.

ALL "This", is mostly for fun, and as an intellectual excersize, as I believe that, if YHVH is "with me", then I prolly will not need to worry about my fate and, if YHVH is against me ?? ... NO amount of fancy gear and rations will be sufficient to protect and sustain me !

I just love all this preparedness stuff ... So much to ponder and try ... No end to the monies and time that might be wasted, either!

I do not know if helping others will create more "armed" competition, for me but, from what I can see, the preparedness "crowd" is a TINY segment of the general population ... You (all) and I, may even help one another, ... Now, or when ... YOU know ... The Bunny Apocalypse.

In any event, fear is not my motive but "frugal fun" (now), with an eye toward an uncertain future, and a spicy retirement, is my primary aim.
I want to be one of those old farts that rides a motorcycle from park-to-park ... along the gulf coast ... just exploring nature and meeting good and interesting folks.

    So ... I am here.
