Hello from St. Louis.
I'm a RN at a local hospital and have become more interested in preparedness as various disasters have occurred throughout our nation. Missouri has had more than its fair share of troubles with flooding and tornadoes lately. I also love that I'm sitting on a major fault zone that might shake things up a bit.
I've always been into shooting and to a lesser degree hunting; but I have come to realize that there is a lot more to 'prepping' than just that specific interest. I am very interested in water storage, gardening, and first aid at the moment.
I'm married and my wife and I are expecting our first child (a boy) before the end of the year. I think this has also increased my interest in preparedness, as I have become responsible for more than just myself over the past few years.
My hobbies involve loving baseball and a deep and weird (so the wife says) fondness for Zombie and Post-Apocalyptic styled movies.
