  • New prepper here

Hey guys. Stopped in to try to learn all I can to prepare my family and I for anything the uncertain future brings. I am way behind the curve and little money. So I am looking for info.

Most all people who PREP and hang out on forums are light on $$$, so you will find some good, cheap methods here... But any step forward is better than giving up and not doing anything, so just do what you can when you can...

You can make things from scratch cheap, as long as you are willing to learn!

A lot of PAW fiction is about folks that have tons of money and all the toys money can buy. All that would be nice but I think the most important thing to have is the right mind set.

Once a person sets their mind to protecting themselves and their loved ones come what may, everything else starts to fall into place. It may take a lot of time and it may never be perfect, but their is a piece of mind knowing you are doing what you can, when you can.

              Welcome to the club.

Thanks for the welcomes guys. So far I have a couple of rain barrels, a garden ( not big enough but will do so far). I live in the sticks and being a country boy really helps. We are secluded, have a well hunt and fish out of our back yard. I have several weapons and ammo also. I have been trained in tactics both offensive and defensive. But I still have a long way to go. I plan to some day get a storm shelter built that is secure and would make a good bunker also, and I need to store plenty of foods. Im also not so dense to believe I know everything. Im looking forward to gleaning knowledge from you all.

Welcome to S & P, lots of good info and people here. Get your 10 posts in so that you can see the vids in the members only section and check out PAW Productions & SurvivalReport on youtube to get some ideas and basic knowledge. Search the forum for a topic cause most likely it has been talked about...if not then post your question.
