Hello everyone from Central Florida.
I am 60 years old, retired from the Navy and now retired from state employment.
I have been into survivalism since I retired from the Navy. That was 20 years ago. I am on several forums, have some firearms and some LTS but have gotten very out of shape and I guess you could say I've become your typical "amchair survivalist".
Recent medical events and the ecomomic and political situation have made me realize that that kind of survivalism just won't cut it anymore. I just got a clean bill of health from my doctor and a cardiologist and have started a series of lifestyle changes to get back into shape and get serious about survivalism.
I have been reading this site for a couple of weeks and it seems like a no BS kind of place with some of the best survival info I've seen.
I am grateful to be a new member here.
