Hello all,
I'm new to this kinda stuff but I'm learning.
I've been lurking for a while and just now starting to post (I got banned from ANOTHER FORUM (admin edited) for not posting :( ) So to prevent that from happening here, I'm forcing myself not to be hesitant to offer an opinion.
Hopefully I won't stick my foot in my mouth.
I know a little about a lot, but a lot about little. So I plan to read alot and comment where I think I can help.
(sorry for the bad writing, but I'm a ol country hick)

A lot of other forums will regularly "prune" users that have zero post counts or extremely low post counts after an extended period of time. We have not done that YET but likely will at some point in the future.

You know, we all complain about welfare types in real life that leech off of others and don't work or do anything to further society. No one here would say "heck yes let's give those lazy buggers that don't do anything MORE!"

We ALL have something to share. Heck you can rack up a pile of posts just asking questions and I'm sure ALL of us have pertinent questions. I've been doing this for 2 1/2 decades and I still have plenty of questions.

I edited your mention of the forum that pruned you for not posting. We don't play the "complain about other forums" game here.

Admin1 thanks for your encouragement to ask questions and to participate more, and I appericiate your help. But to clairify I wasn't complaining, just kicking myself for screwing up a source of valuable info.
And I plan to ask plenty of questions and contribute to this forum, and not lurk anymore.
Y'all seem to be a honest group of like minded people willing to help the under informed like myself, and for that I thank you.

Welcome from Almost Georgia, about three miles on the Florida side of the state line. In my younger days, 30+ years ago, I used to vacation in north georgia, Rabun County mostly. One of the most beautiful parts of America.
I have actually eaten lunch at the Dawsonville Pool Hall.
