yip grew up there......i hear theres plenty of birds and fish in all the canals down that way that a crossbow will make easy work of....;P
There are almost as many canals are there are roads. They dig them to control rain water which we have an awful lot of. There are areas where you can hunt and other areas where you might not want to. But yes there are a lot of canals. Not sure I would want to eat the fish that comes out of some of the canals. We have a lot of golf courses and private communities that use tons of pesticides, weed killers, artificial fertilizer, etc. the rain water washes it right into the canals. I am sure some are so toxic you could die immediately eating just one fish - LOL well maybe it's not that bad - but it is still not like eating out of a clean lake. I have seen plenty of birds, snakes, and of course gators. In any event, you would have a good time.
