Greetings!

I just discovered your forum last week during some of my online research, I love it! You have a great forum with some very useful information.

A little about me. I have been into preparedness for about 8 years now when my husband was working out of the country. Wow, I cannot believe it has been that long! Anyway, it all started when I became worried about pandemic flu, and it has morphed into concerns about economics, politics, world political issues, you name it. I am a wife, and mother of two great kids.

Despite the fact that I have been prepping for 8 years now, I still consider myself a newby and am continually learning. In fact, I just read your BOB thread and have made some much needed changes to our BOB bags due to the great info that was provided. Thanks!

I look forward to continuing to learn from you all, and hopefully I will have something to contribute as well.

We are at opposite ends of the US. You are in the NW and I am in the SE.
When things get bad, I will be in the NW - have several retreats one in the NW.

I have been prepping for over 30 years, we did not have the internet and there was no way to communicate with other survivalists. The internet sure is handy.
