Having toured England and Scotland I must say I love your country. In fact, if I had to live anywhere but the US, it would be Scotland.
I want to know about bugging out in Scotland. I toured it via Brit Rail and travelled through areas that were desolate and absence of any human trace. Do preppers in Great Britain consider Scotland a viable bug out location??
Hi all thanks for the welcome, MB Yes indeed Scotland is a popular spot for many preppers, survivalists and offgridders, as is Wales, and much of the northern part of england such as Northumberland , Cumbria and Co Durham.

Yeah the further north the better really, that’s what I've always though.
Down south places like the forest of dean ect will be death traps, it’s like my mate says, your going to get everyone turning up down there....
I would love to have post from our cousins across the pond about the differences in prepping and the general feeling of the British people about the future. Also, pictures would be wonderful. While we may speak the same language, so to speak, different points of view would be interesting.
