    hi everyone,

been lurking here for a few months, finally decided to sign up and introduce myself. just getting started on prepping, got a long way to go, but have a few things dialed in now. enjoyed the survival shorts section, and really enjoyed the bug out bag section, mine will not be so tactically minded, will be more like a gotta walk home bag, need to walk 3 miles to get to my house from my work, in case an emp takes out the electronics on my vehicle, I live in a rural area. going to bug in before I HAVE to bug out. if anyone here has info on pinzgaur swiss vehicles let me know. looking at their radio vehicle it is emp proof, its a big faraday cage! looking forward to lots of good Q&A here. let me know if you need prayer, I have a community group that gets together every 2 weeks for fellowship, food, and prayer. already seen God do some amazing miracles!!;)

Stonewater (think of moses here, thats where my handle comes from)

      Welcome Stonewater.

Love the Oregon timbers! What a great and beautiful area. Use to go up through there allot when I was a youth with my family. We lived in the Sac CA. area and would take I-5 up and sometimes HWY 1 it was a real treat. Up until recently my brother lived in the Eugene area and last we visited was in 03, still have a lot of Kin-folk out there.

Something to think about that BOB is make one for that getting home journey and then keep one ready at your retreat cause you never know when you might need to bug out from home. I always think being mobile.
A desire changes nothing, a decision changes some thing's, but determination changes everything.

yes thanks for the tip, I have that on my list, a get home bag, (got one from cheaper than dirt) then a full rucksack for myself and wife and son. that is why I am looking in to emp proof vehicles, to get out of dodge before the zombies take over!
