  • feast or famine ...

with this weird weather. who's crops have suffered.
our production/growth has stalled it seems. normally i have plants that will keep growing. but arent. like theyve stalled.
plenty of h20, fert,,sun etc but temps are all over the place?

freeze killed my sweet taters i had growing as an experiment, but we still harvested a "chinamart" bag full of small ones. made for 4 good meals(size ranged from fatthumb size to pencil thickness).and lunch left overs ol .but some of the cold weather stuff has just stopped.
my spinach/lettuce thats been going since fall is g2g. the stuff planted late nov. hasnt reached 6 inches tet. same with some brussel sprouts that we replanted in a open row with other sprouts. theygot 4 inches high then stopped.
and old reliable radishes didnt even sprout!1 which is a 1st ever here.cuz i grow them year round.

im still getting salad makings for eating each day..so im g2g there but would hate for that to be the only source on intake. any tricks or such sides green housing ? last year we had zer issues. only thing different is wetter ground and the constant roller coaster on thermometer.
Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

I wish I could help but I'm no great gardener. We have plans for a green house this year. My wife and I joke while watching 'Alaska: The Last Frontier' that the people up there with four months of growing season have a better garden than us down here in south Texas! We're trying though and we're getting better each year.
