save your money for stuff that can help you. Not land that you have to pay taxes on, and can't move if something goes wrong. stuff, you can dig up and move. Land, you cant. Parks, BLM land, RR land, power company land, lumber/paper company land, mining company, etc.

I believe in "off shore" (i.e, away from home) caching as well. That being said, it is very easy to lose caches. Landmarks do change, things are forgotten, etc. I own a metal detector, I bought it for one specific use, have only used it for one other occasion- trying to find an Iron pin property marker.

Always cache with the idea that you could possibly never see that material again or that it may be ruined when you do.

Check out the caching series of podcasts we did on the Survival Report podcast forum.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"
