I had a great Peach year this year glad to hear others did also.
We have as much fungus problems as insects usually as they get close to maturing especially. I like Captain 50w as fungicide it gives you a week to 10 day's protection. I like the Diazinon 50w much better than Malathion because it will have a residual of 7 days or so also. When I spray I blend both together and just make sure the flowering is done so we don't kill the bees or any other pollinators. I blend these two with my dormant oil also when I apply it in the spring.
It is tough enough getting the spray's out so when I do them want as long a protection window as possible plus doing as many things at one time as possible. I am sure the rest of you also would rather be doing something than spraying.
Also if its humid and over 80 all night the fungus and diseases can run wild fast so I try to hit weekly in those conditions or as often as can.
