I post this for those here who may be interested... Those who know me over the years, as well as my activity here, know that my heart cry has been for a COMMUNITY to rise up in my area of like-minded people. Well, it seems the Father, unbeknownst to me, was working on just such a thing through another local builder and businessman who at first thought he was designing a SECULAR development as he worked through the YEARS of zoning and permitting hassles for this 750+ acre community, but as events transpired, transformed that original plan into a community for like-minded people like himself instead. This new focus was confirmed in him by one of those "Duh!" daydreams and then confirmed to him by other people soon after.
This community, with a preliminary name of "Central Meadows," is READY to BUILD ON NOW! All zoning, permitting and government red-tape, even with federal VDOT, has been finished. If this is something that interests you, you can contact me first, and then I will give you the contact info of the man who has begun this much-needed life option. Or the web site will have the guys info as well. A "member" in New York is now working on the web site, so it is basic at this point. Look for detailed zoning maps and a 3D rendering of the community on the web site soon.
At this time I am looking into this SERIOUSLY, but I am not a "member" yet. If it progresses as I believe it will, then I plan on selling my homestead and building there. Right now it is at the GROUND FLOOR, just having all the zoning and permitting cleared. The BIG problems are over, it is now finding the people CALLED to such a community, who share, or are at least walking towards that understanding of the Scriptures as ONE COMPLETE BOOK, OT & NT together. Are you one?
Also, this is not intended as a "Doomsday" community, for the land, albeit very RURAL, is easily only an hour or so from a large city and an hour from another smaller city. But it is all we have at this point, so I persoanlly will try to make a go of it if it works out for us...

Central Meadows Community
1) A Torah and Messiah based cooperative community and end times refuge.
2) Located in Central Virginia midway between Charlottesville and Richmond, 5 minutes from major highway access yet secluded in the rolling woodlands of the Virginia Piedmont.
3) Privately accessed 750+ acres with numerous springs and creeks. Abundant wildlife and timber resources as well as open pastures. A large pond is located among existing structures which include an upgraded Virginia style 2 story home and numerous barns and outbuildings. This central area would be well suited for the community center and could be used for a worship center, schooling, feast location, playground, town hall, etc.
4) Membership is by invitation only.
5) Membership to include an individually deeded one acre lot with blacktop access. Electric, telephone and internet access will be available.
6) Members enjoy 500 acres of community deeded open space. The community will maintain perpetual legal ownership and will decide by majority the direction and usage of the open space. Determined usage is unlimited but could include bees, cattle, dairy, horses, crops, gardens, vineyards, orchards, additional housing, cottage industries, etc.
7) Off grid technologies encouraged.
8) Individually owned site usage is autonomous and unrestricted. Some members will be building immediately and others will be holding their site as a future refuge. Individual site usage will range from traditional stick built homes, off grid cabins, RV sites, camp sites to empty lots.
9) 85 home sites available in the initial phase. Approximately 150 sites will be made available in total.
