its google map....don't see what makes it different than google map that is already out there? The only thing I saw that seemed interesting was the USGS option...
This link might be a little more helpful about this site:
There are FAQ's that will help to.Last edited by 610Alpha; 07-11-2012, 01:44 PM."It's a trap!!!!" -- Admiral Ackbar

610Alpha - From what I found the topo has more detailed info on it, the t2 topo option had older, historical data, important to us. The options are different, try as I might in a short amount of time I am unable to get the same results from G-Earth or Maps.
Makes sense to me that most would be based on google maps and satellite info.
Wasn't trying to set the world on fire with a completely new anything, just had options including the usgs you mentioned and historical topos that I hadn't seen.
Sorry didn't mean to get your hopes up.Do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do!

Thats ok...How did you find that Natural Gas Emergency Storage near you? Don't get me wrong it is a good resource....I will have to do some experimenting with it so I can make a good size wall map for my AO...cheaper than buying a bunch of USGS maps...

My Wife actually found it, she went to the t2 topo, found a pipeline marked that went to nowhere. I told her to zoom out and it was written in large letters UNDERGROUND GAS STORAGE.
It borders a friends property, he didn't know anything about it, last evening we took an atv ride and found the well head and part of a manifold. I guess it is stored in ?caverns - old gas wells? there are many big trees and couldn't see any visible signs of Tanks.
Also found 4 gas wells within 5 miles.
There are a number of unidentified markers, not sure what they are----yet.Do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do!
